Movies are incredible tools for opening people's hearts and minds -- fueling conversations that can change lives and improve our society.

Across the country, there are schools, social groups, and non-profit organizations hungry for accessible, engaging content that can serve as a springboard for vital, empowering conversations about mental health, and the power of connection and vulnerability.

Our impact campaign will connect the film, and the men featured in it, with organizations that can leverage its message and engage their community members - convening screenings and conversations to help illuminate a path to healthier lives and relationships.

Together we can share the critical message of Fortunate Sons with the many people and families who need inspiration in communities across the country.

Every gift helps, truly...
* $100 – enables us to edit a video for social media, or run highly efficient, targeted Facebook ads, the lifeblood for word-of-mouth.
* $250 - covers the cost of applying to one film festival, key to spreading the word and generating new partners.
* $500 - sponsors a virtual screening and conversation for a school, or non-profit organization.
* $1,000 – pays for a classmate or subject matter expert to travel to a community and lead a transformative post-screening conversation.
* $2,500 – sponsors an in-person screening and conversation for a school, or non-profit organization.
* $5,000 – supports a month of PR outreach to local and national media, generating articles, podcasts, and news stories in support of the campaign.
* $10,000 – supports a month of staff outreach to and coordination with new schools, groups, organizations, and companies.

Donations made in support of the “Fortunate Sons” documentary via the International Documentary Association (see instructions below) qualify as tax-deductible contributions and, accordingly, do not include any participation in the equity or profits of the project.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Depends on a few factors like if you received a reward in exchange for the donation and the value of your donation above that rewards cost, etc. You may contact the nonprofit you donated to directly to receive information on whether or not your donation is tax deductible. Nonetheless, the emailed receipts you will receive for your donation is the documentation you need to make it tax deductible.

Is my donation and credit card info secure?

Yes, the security and confidentiality of your information is our highest priority. We will not sell, trade or share your personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations, and we will only share personal information if you have given us specific permission to do so.

How do I know that my donation was made successfully?

You will receive an emailed receipt immediately after your donation is submitted and your credit card is processed. Your donation will also show up on your bank or card statement within 1-3 business days.

Do I get a receipt?

Yes, a receipt is sent to your email inbox once your donation is processed. Please be sure to keep a copy of your receipt for tax purposes. If you select a recurring donation, you will be sent an individual receipt each period when your donation is processed.
